General Description
Anjeka-4410S is a liquid rheological additive suitable for medium-polarity and solvent-free coating systems, as well as room-temperature curing resin systems. The additive imparts highly thixotropic flow behavior, significantly improving anti-sagging and anti-settling properties. It is an improved version of Anjeka-4410 and can also be added post-formulation (post-added).

Storage and Transport
Temperature-sensitive product. Store in a dry condition. Remains clear even at low temperatures down to -4°C. Slight turbidity that may appear during storage does not affect the rheological performance. Shelf life is not recommended to exceed 12 months.

Industrial Coatings
Features and Benefits:
When incorporated into the coating system under stirring, the additive forms a three-dimensional network structure, creating highly thixotropic flow behavior. This is particularly effective for preventing settling and sagging without compromising leveling properties. It shows excellent anti-settling and anti-sagging performance, especially in epoxy resin systems.Special Notes When used in combination with driers, discoloration may occur, possibly due to the formation of metal complexes. In such cases, the rheological effectiveness should be evaluated.
At standard dosage levels, it has no negative impact on yellowing. In suspected systems, testing for yellowing and higher additive dosages is recommended.
In reactive and catalyzed systems containing nitrocellulose, testing the storage stability of the product is advised.
PVC Resin (Plastisol) Applications
Features and Benefits:
This liquid additive is widely used in PVC resin systems to enhance thixotropy. It enables faster processing of plastisols during manufacturing, improves anti-settling and anti-sagging behavior, and significantly reduces color floating/flooding in pigment pastes while controlling coating set during baking. It also increases the stability of PVC foam during mechanical stirring.
Recommended Levels
0.2%–0.5% additive (as supplied) to prevent settling and color floating/flooding.
0.5%–1.0% additive (as supplied) to prevent sagging.
(The above values are empirical; the optimal dosage should be determined through a series of laboratory tests.)
Incorporation and Processing Instructions
The additive should be incorporated into the coating system under medium shear force to ensure uniform and rapid dispersion. No special temperature control is required. It can be added during the grinding stage or post-added to adjust viscosity. When compatible with the system, the rheological effect becomes significantly stronger over time and depends on polarity. It is generally recommended to evaluate the rheological performance 2–4 hours after mixing. This additive is particularly recommended for medium-polarity systems.
