GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Anjeka-4410 is a liquid rheological additive suitable for medium-polarity and
solvent-free coating systems, as well as ambient-curing resin systems. The additive
creates a highly thixotropic flow behavior, improving anti-sagging and anti-settling
performance. This additive can also be added post-production.
PRODUCT DATA
Chemical Composition: Modified polyurea solution
Typical Physical and Chemical Data:
The data provided in this sheet represents typical values and does not constitute
technical specifications.
Appearance: Yellow to brown liquid
Density (g/cm³ at 23℃): 1.00-1.20
Viscosity (cps at 25℃): 200-3000
Active Ingredient (%): 52
Solvent: N-Methylpyrrolidone (NMP)
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Temperature-sensitive; store under dry conditions.
Slight turbidity may occur during storage, but it does not affect rheological
performance.
Storage duration should not exceed 12 months.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Industrial Coatings
Characteristics and Benefits:
When added to coating systems under stirring, the additive forms a three-dimensional
network structure. The resulting thixotropic flow behavior is highly effective in
preventing settling and sagging without affecting leveling.
Special Notes:
Discoloration may occur when used with driers due to the formation of metal
complexes. Rheological effectiveness should be evaluated under such conditions.
At standard dosages, no negative impact on yellowing is observed. Yellowing and
higher additive levels should be evaluated in suspected systems.
For reactive and catalytic systems containing nitrocellulose, we recommend testing
the product's storage stability.
PVC ResinsCharacteristics and Benefits:
The liquid additive is widely used in PVC resins to enhance thixotropy.
Allows faster processing during plastisol manufacturing.
Improves anti-settling and anti-sagging properties.
Minimizes pigment flooding and floating.
Controls coating definition during baking.
Increases foam stability during mechanical stirring of PVC.
Recommended Levels:
0.2%-0.5% (supply form) based on PVC resin to prevent settling and flooding.
0.5%-1% (supply form) based on PVC resin to prevent sagging.
The above dosage levels are based on experience; optimal dosage should be
determined through a series of tests.
INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
This additive should be added to the coating system under medium shear force,
ensuring uniform mixing and rapid dispersion.
No special temperature control is required.
It can be added during the grinding stage or post-addition to adjust viscosity.
When compatible with the system, rheological effects are significantly enhanced.
Rheological performance can generally be evaluated 2-4 hours after mixing,
depending on time and polarity.
Recommended for medium-polarity systems.

FAQ:
1.Application range of polyurea thixotropic agent
The application range of a polyurea thixotropic agent includes various solvent-based and solvent-free systems where enhanced thixotropy, anti-sagging, and viscosity control are required. Key application areas include:
Industrial Coatings – Used in high-build coatings, such as heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, automotive coatings, and marine coatings, to prevent sagging during application.
Adhesives & Sealants – Applied in structural adhesives and polyurethane sealants, providing better stability, reduced flow, and controlled application.
Composites & Resins – Enhances thixotropy in epoxy, polyester, and polyurethane resins, commonly used in fiber-reinforced composites.
Printing Inks – Used in screen printing and other high-viscosity inks to control ink flow and prevent spreading.
PU Foam & Elastomers – Applied in polyurethane foams and elastomers, helping improve consistency and avoid dripping.
Construction Materials – Enhances the workability and viscosity of PU-based coatings, waterproofing materials, and flooring systems.
