STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Separation and turbidity may occur at temperatures below 0℃. Warm to 30℃ and mix well before use.
ATTENTION
The surface-treatment of some organic pigments may negatively affect the efficiency of the additive. In such cases, tests with the untreated pigment of the same type may be successful.
APPLICATION
Coatings industry and printing inks.
Advantages
Anjeka 6040 improves the gloss of organic pigments, bright colors, anti-flocculation properties, and reduce the haze caused by uneven dispersion. Especially in the aspect of surface carbon black dispersion, it can effectively improve the blackness of the coating. This product also helps to reduce grinding time, increase productivity and increase the storage stability of the coating.
RECOMMENDED USE
It is recommended to use this additive in dispersing pigments and printing inks in solvent-borne solvent coatings to stabilize organic pigments, especially carbon black. This product is compatible with many resins which used in coatings, such as polyester resins, polyurethane resins and acrylic resins.
RECOMMENDED ADDITION LEVEL
The amount of additive (as supplied form) is based on the pigment
| Inorganic pigments: | 4%-8% |
| Organic pigments: | 10%-50% |
| Carbon blacks: | 10%-80% |
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
For the best performance, the additive must be added into the millbase before addition of pigments. Do not add the pigments until the additive has been homogeneously and uniformly distributed.
