Anjeka 7422 is a silicone surfactant for aqueous coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes with strong reduction of surface tension and significantly improvement substrate wetting.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT
Separation and turbidity may occur at temperatures below 5℃. Warming to 20℃ and mix well before use.Storage is not recommended for more than 12 months.
SPECIAL NOTES
Anjeka 7422 is stable in coating system of pH 4-10. In order to avoid turbidity, the additive requires a small amount of co-solvent in the formulation (approx. 5% of the total solvent content). The effective of Anjeka 7412 is reduced in systems with high co-solvent amounts. In this case, we recommend Anjeka 7333.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Industrial Coatings
Characters and advantages
This additive improves levelling and substrate wetting by strongly reducing the surface tension of aqueous systems. It has no or slightly foam stabilising effect, does not reduce recoatability and has good wettability for white carbon blacks. The additive does not increase surface slip. For higher surface slip, the addition of Anjeka 7333 is recommended.
APPLICATION SECTORS
This additive is recommended for all aqueous coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes and requires the addition of a small amount of co-solvent
RECOMMENDED LEVELS
0.05-0.5% additive (as supplied) based upon total formulation
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
PROCESSING INSTRUCTIOS
The additive can be incorporated during any stage of the production process. We recommend that the additive is added in the final production stage of coating.
