PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Anjeka-7423 is a high-performance silicone surfactant designed for waterborne coatings, printing inks, and overprint varnishes. It delivers powerful surface tension reduction, dramatically enhancing substrate wetting and flow properties. Notably, it offers significantly broader pH stability (pH 3-12) compared to its predecessor, Anjeka-7422.

STORAGE & HANDLING
Store in a cool, dry place. If stored below 5°C, the product may separate or become cloudy. In such cases, warm it gently to 20°C and mix thoroughly until uniform before use. For optimal performance, use within 12 months.
KEY APPLICATION NOTES
This surfactant maintains excellent long-term stability in systems with a pH between 4 and 10. To ensure clarity and prevent haze in the final formulation, it is necessary to include a small amount of co-solvent (approximately 5% of the total solvent). In formulations with very high co-solvent content, the efficiency of this surfactant may diminish; for such applications, Anjeka-7333 is recommended.
PERFORMANCE BENEFITS
In industrial coatings, Anjeka-7423 significantly improves leveling and wetting by drastically lowering the surface tension of aqueous systems. It offers minimal foam stabilization, does not impair intercoat adhesion, and exhibits excellent compatibility with fumed silica. Notably, it does not contribute to increased surface slip; if enhanced slip is required, Anjeka-7333 can be added in combination.
RECOMMENDED USE
This additive is suitable for a wide range of water-based coatings, inks, and varnishes, provided a small proportion of co-solvent is present in the formula.
DOSAGE
A general starting addition level is 0.05% to 0.5% (as supplied, based on total formulation weight). These figures are empirical guidelines; the optimal dosage should be determined through specific laboratory trials.
INCORPORATION
While Anjeka-7423 can be introduced at any production phase, adding it during the final stage of coating manufacture is recommended for best results.
