ANJEKA—6200 General purpose dispersants Pigment Dispersing Agent Lubrizol2000 coatings additives
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
ANJEKA-6200 is a wetting and dispersing agent designed for solvent-based automotive coatings, industrial coatings, and concentrated pigment pastes. It is particularly suitable for stabilizing ultrafine carbon black and organic pigments, especially in two-component polyurethane and baking systems. ANJEKA-6200 significantly reduces the viscosity of grinding materials.
PRODUCT DATA

STORAGE and TRANSPORT
Store in a cool and dry place. Layering or oiling may occur at temperatures below 0℃; heat to 20℃ and thoroughly mix. Storage beyond 12 months is not recommended.
SPECIAL NOTES
Surface treatments of certain organic pigments may adversely affect the efficacy of this wetting and dispersing agent. In such cases, it is advisable to try untreated pigments of the same type. When used in coil coating, consider the interaction between this cationic additive and acid catalysts. Free acids or epoxy-closed acids are more suitable than amine-closed acids.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Industrial Coatings
Features and Advantages:
ANJEKA-6200 controls pigment flocculation and maintains stability through steric hindrance. It imparts the same charge to pigment particles, creating repulsion and steric hindrance that effectively prevent potential flocculation. This ensures that multi-pigment systems do not exhibit color floating and blooming, resulting in enhanced gloss, color intensity, transparency, and coverage, while also reducing grinding viscosity.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS
Additive levels (as purchased) based on pigment:
Titanium Dioxide: | 5%—6% |
Inorganic Pigments: | 10%—15% |
Organic Pigments: | 30%—80% |
Carbon Black: | 70%—140% |
(The above data are empirical levels; optimal levels should be determined through a series of experiments.)
PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
For optimal performance, add the additive to the grinding media first, followed by the addition of pigments. Pre-mix the resin and solvent components of the grinding media, then slowly add the additive under continuous stirring. Do not add pigments until the additive is thoroughly mixed.
