PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Anjeka 4410 is a liquid rheological modifier designed for use in medium polarity coatings and solvent-free coatings, as well as resin systems that cure at room temperature. This additive enhances the thixotropic properties of the fluid, improving resistance to sagging and settling. It can be added at a later stage during processing.

Polyurea modification thixotropic agents are specialized additives used to modify the rheological properties of polyurea systems. Thixotropic agents impart a non-drip, gel-like consistency to the formulation, which helps in preventing sagging or running of the coating on vertical surfaces. Here are some key features of polyurea modification thixotropic agents:
The main characteristics of polyurea thixotropic agents include:
Thixotropy: Polyurea thixotropic agents can thin under shear forces but quickly return to their original viscous state once the shear forces are removed. This property makes them easier to apply during the process while providing sufficient thickness and strength after application.
Thickening Effect: Polyurea thixotropic agents can significantly increase the viscosity of the system, preventing settling and sagging, thus improving the rheological properties of coatings or layers.
Stability: Polyurea thixotropic agents generally have good chemical stability, resisting decomposition or degradation, and maintaining their performance in various chemical environments.
Compatibility: Polyurea thixotropic agents are compatible with many resins and solvents, allowing them to mix well with various systems without affecting the final product's performance.
Wide Application: Polyurea thixotropic agents are widely used in coatings, inks, adhesives, and sealants, especially in high-performance and high-demand applications.
Environmentally Friendly: Many polyurea thixotropic agents are solvent-free and have low volatility, meeting environmental requirements and reducing pollution.
Improved Sag Resistance:
Vertical and Overhead Application: Thixotropic agents prevent the coating from sagging or running, making them ideal for applications on vertical and overhead surfaces.Viscosity Control:
Shear-Thinning Behavior: These agents exhibit thixotropic behavior, meaning they reduce viscosity under shear (during mixing or application) and regain viscosity when at rest, allowing for easy application and subsequent stability.Optimized Flow: The viscosity control ensures that the polyurea formulation flows well during application but stays in place once applied.Improved Application Properties:
Non-Drip: Thixotropic agents help in creating a non-drip formulation, reducing waste and ensuring precise application.Ease of Handling: They provide a gel-like consistency that makes the polyurea easier to handle and apply, especially in complex geometries.Enhanced Surface Finish:
Smooth Finish: By controlling the flow and leveling of the polyurea, thixotropic agents contribute to a smoother, more aesthetically pleasing finish.Compatibility:
Broad Compatibility: These agents are typically compatible with various polyurea formulations and other additives, allowing for flexible formulation design.Performance Enhancement:
Durability: By preventing sagging and running, thixotropic agents ensure that the polyurea coating maintains its protective properties, contributing to the overall durability and longevity of the coating.Environmental and Safety Considerations:
Low VOC: Many modern thixotropic agents are designed to be low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making them safer for the environment and for workers.By incorporating thixotropic agents, polyurea formulations can achieve improved application performance, better surface aesthetics, and enhanced protective properties, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications
