DESCRIPTION
Anjeka 4420 is a liquid rheological additive suitable for water-borne coatings and adhesives. The additive produces highly thixotropic fluidity to improve sag resistance and settling resistance. The additive can be added later.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Handle with care regarding temperature sensitivity. Keep stored in a dry environment. Any slight turbidity observed in the material during storage does not affect its rheological effectiveness.
APPLICATION
Introduce the additive into the coating system under moderate shear to achieve uniform and swift dispersion. Once stirred into the coating system, the additive forms a three-dimensional network structure. The resulting thixotropic flow characteristic is well-suited for preventing particle sedimentation and enhancing anti-sagging properties, all without compromising leveling.
RECOMMENDED ADDITION LEVEL
0.2-1% additive (as supplied) based upon the total formulation to prevent settling;
0.5-2% to prevent sagging, depending on the solids in the formulation.
PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
The additive should be added whilst stirring and distributed homogeneously. It is not necessary to control the temperature. The additive is also suitable for adjusting the viscosity afterwards by incorporating it as a post-additive.
