DESCRIPTION

Anjeka 4620 is a liquid rheological additive suitable for solvent-borne and solvent-free coating. The additive produces highly thixotropic fluidity to improve sag resistance and settling resistance. The additive can be added later.

STOREGE AND TRANSPORTATION

Temperature sensitive. Store in dry condition. Slight turbidity of the material that occurs during the storage has no influence on the rheological effectiveness.

Application

ANJEKA-4620 is versatile and can be applied either independently or alongside cost-effective hydrophilic fumed silica and bentonite to achieve augmented coating thickness. Once incorporated into the coating system through stirring, this additive initiates the formation of a three-dimensional network structure. The consequential thixotropic flow trait is exceptionally effective in inhibiting particle sedimentation and enhancing anti-sagging features, all while maintaining optimal leveling.

Dosage

To prevent settling, it is recommended to include 0.2-1% of the additive (as provided) in the overall formulation. This percentage is calculated based on the entire formulation.

PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS

The additive should be added whilst stirring and distributed homogeneously. It is not necessary to control the temperature. The additive is also suitable for adjusting the viscosity afterwards by incorporating it as a post-additive.
