ANJEKA-4410 Improve anti sagging and anti settlement performance

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Anjeka-4410 is a liquid rheology additive for medium polarity and solvent-free coating systems as well as ambient curing resin systems. The additive produces a highly thixotropic flow behavior and improves anti-sagging and anti-settling properties. This additive can also be added later.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

Temperature sensitive, store under dry conditions. Slight turbidity may occur during storage, but it does not affect the rheological effect. The storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months.

When added to the coating system under stirring, the additive will produce a three-dimensional network structure, forming a thixotropic flow behavior ideally suited to prevent settling and anti-sagging properties without affecting leveling.

SPECIAL NOTES

If it is used with drying agents, discoloration may occur, probably due to the formation of metal complexes. Rheological effectiveness in this case should be evaluated.

Under standard dosing, there is no negative effect on yellowing. In suspected systems yellowing and higher additive dosages should be evaluated. When the additive is in reactive and catalytic systems and contains cellulose nitrate, we recommend testing the storage stability of the product.

PVC RESINS

Properties and Benefits

Liquid additives are used in many PVC resins to improve thixotropy, enable faster processing of plastisols during manufacturing, and improve anti-settling behavior and anti-sagging behavior.Anjeka-4410 minimizes color bleeding in pigmented slurries and controls coating set during baking. Increases the stability of PVC foam during mechanical mixing.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

0.2%-0.5% additives (as supplied) based on PVC resin to prevent settling and color float.

0.5%-1% of additives (supply form) based on PVC resin to prevent sagging.

The above data are empirical and the optimum dosage should be determined through a series of tests.

INCORPORATION and PROCESSING INSTRUCTIOS

This additive should be added to the coating system under medium shear to ensure uniform mixing and rapid dispersion. It does not require specialized temperature control and can be added to the abrasive stage, but is also suitable for post-addition to regulate viscosity. If the additive is suitable for this system, there will be a significant increase in rheology, which depends on time and polarity, and can generally be evaluated 2-4 hours after mixing. This additive is recommended for medium polarity systems.
