GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Anjeka-5530 is a silicone and polymer defoamer for use in both solvent-borne and solvent-free systems.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT
Layering and turbidity may occur at temperatures below 0 °C. Heat to 30 °C and mix thoroughly. Store in a cool, dry place.
Storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months. Transport as non-hazardous goods.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Features and benefits:
Anjeka-5530 has strong defoaming properties and can reduce foam formation during production and processing to create a bubble-free, glossy surface. It is ideal for epoxy resin systems.
APPLICATION SECTORS
Recommended for anticorrosive coatings.
Applications: Protective coatings, industrial coatings, automotive coatings, wood and furniture coatings, and coil/can coatings.
RECOMMENDED LEVELS
0.1-1.0% Additives (in purchased form) based on total formulation.
The above data are empirical and the optimum dosage should be determined through a series of tests.
INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIOS
For optimum performance, defoamers should be added to the grinding media prior to grinding. If added at a later stage, sufficient shear is required to ensure good defoamer dispersion and prevent shrinkage.
