GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Anjeka-5300A is a silicone-free defoaming agent designed for both solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

When stored below 5°C, the product may show layering or slight turbidity.
Warm to approximately 20°C and mix well before use.
Store in a cool and dry environment. The recommended storage period is no longer than 12 months.

SPECIAL NOTES

Due to its high incompatibility with certain resins, its influence on varnish clarity and potential shrinkage issues must be carefully evaluated in the formulation.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Features and Benefits:

Anjeka-5300A provides strong defoaming and air-release performance while maintaining good intercoat adhesion.
It enhances flow and leveling and helps eliminate defects such as pinholes, craters, fish eyes, and silk lines.
The additive also offers an anti-boiling effect in baking finishes.

APPLICATION SECTORS

Recommended for: Industrial coatings, automotive coatings, wood and furniture finishes.
Applications include: Protective coatings, and coil/can baking coatings.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

Additive dosage (as supplied) is typically 0.3–1.5% of the total formulation.
These values are empirical; optimal levels should be determined through laboratory testing.

INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIOS

For best results, the defoamer should be added to the millbase before grinding.
If incorporated later in the process, ensure sufficient shear to achieve proper dispersion.
