GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Anjeka-6104S is a wetting and dispersing additive based on a copolymer of unsaturated polycarboxylic acid polymer combined with polysiloxane. It is supplied as a solution and is designed for use in medium- to high-polarity formulation systems.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Stir thoroughly before use. At temperatures below 0 °C, phase separation or turbidity may occur. If this happens, gently heat the product to 30–60 °C and mix well until a homogeneous state is restored.
The recommended storage period should not exceed 12 months.
SPECIAL NOTES
This product shows limited compatibility with petroleum-based solvents or coating systems diluted with petroleum solvents.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Properties and Benefits
Anjeka-6104S functions as a wetting and dispersing additive that enhances pigment wetting and stabilizes dispersions through controlled pigment flocculation. This mechanism helps prevent color floating, blooming, and hard sedimentation.
It is suitable for medium- to high-polarity systems and is particularly effective in reducing color separation when titanium dioxide is used in combination with colored pigments. The product may also be applied in amine-neutralized and certain waterborne coating systems. It is not compatible with solvent gasoline.
When incorporated into anticorrosive primers, Anjeka-6104S can improve protective performance in many formulations. The presence of a small amount of polysiloxane copolymer further enhances resistance to color float. In addition, the silicone component helps suppress Bernard cells and streaking, while improving surface slip, leveling, and the orientation of matting agents or aluminum pigments—often reducing or eliminating the need for additional silicone additives.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS
The recommended dosage (based on total pigment content, as supplied):

Titanium dioxide: 0.5% – 2.5%

Inorganic pigments: 3% – 10%

Organic pigments: 10% – 20%
These values are for guidance only. The optimal dosage should be determined through formulation trials.
INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
For best performance, the additive should be introduced into the mill base prior to the addition of pigments.
