GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Anjeka-5530 is a silicone- and polymer-containing defoamer suitable for both solvent-based and solvent-free formulations.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT
Cloudiness or slight layering may develop at temperatures below 0°C. Warm the material to around 30°C and stir well before use.
Keep in a cool, dry environment.
Maximum recommended storage duration: 12 months.
Classified as non-dangerous goods for transport.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Anjeka-5530 offers excellent foam suppression and bubble-breaking performance, effectively minimizing foam generated during manufacturing and application to achieve a smooth, defect-free high-gloss finish. It is particularly well-suited for epoxy resin-based systems.

APPLICATION SECTORS
Primarily recommended for: anti-corrosion coatings.Suitable applications include: marine and protective coatings, general industrial finishes, automotive paints, wood and furniture varnishes, as well as coil and can coatings.

RECOMMENDED DOSAG
0.1–1.0% of the additive (as supplied), calculated on the total formulation weight.These figures are based on experience; the ideal level should be established through laboratory trials.

INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIOS
To achieve best results, incorporate the defoamer into the mill base before the dispersion or grinding phase.
If introduced later in the process, sufficient high-shear mixing must be applied to ensure proper distribution and avoid surface defects such as cratering.
