GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Anjeka-4350 is a modified ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer emulsion designed to enhance the orientation of effect pigments in waterborne coatings.

STORAGE & TRANSPORT

Store in tightly sealed containers in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat and ignition sources. Recommended storage temperature is between 5°C and 40°C. Shelf life should not exceed 12 months.

Features and Benefits

Anjeka-4350 significantly improves the alignment of metallic and pearlescent pigments (e.g., aluminum flakes), thereby enhancing the flip-flop effect and color travel in metallic finishes. It effectively prevents pigment flooding (mottling) and slows down the settling of effect pigments in the container, ensuring superior visual appearance and application consistency.

Recommended Application Sectors

Anjeka-4350 is recommended for waterborne metallic basecoats and single-layer metallic effect topcoats.

Recommended Dosage

• Addition Level: 5 – 10% on total formulation weight (as supplied).

• Note: The above is a typical starting range. Optimal dosage must be determined through practical testing.

Incorporation & Processing Instructions

1. Add Anjeka-4350 after the effect pigments have been incorporated into the system.

2. Use low to moderate shear for mixing.

3. Do not pre-dilute with water.

4. For optimal performance, adjust the system pH to 9.0 – 9.5 prior to its addition.
