Anjeka-4420 is a liquid rheology additive for water soluble, dispersions and emulsions to produce a high degree of thixotropic fluidity and improve anti-sagging and anti-settling properties. This additive can also be added after, can be applied to water, water and alcohol e ther, alcohol solvent mixture system.

Temperature sensitive, store under dry conditions. A slight appearance of turbidity may occur during storage, but it does not affect the rheological effect. Storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months.
Industrial Coatings
When added to the coating system under stirring, the additive will produce a three-dimensional network structure, forming a thixotropic flow behavior ideally suited to prevent settling and anti-sagging properties without affecting leveling.
0.2%-1% based on total formulation to prevent settling.
0.5%-2% based on total formulation to prevent sagging, but this depends on the overall solids of the formulation.
The above figures are empirical and optimum levels should be determined through a series of trials.
This additive should be added to the coating system under moderate shear to ensure uniform mixing and rapid dispersion. It does not require specialized temperature control and can be added to the abrasive stage, but is also suitable for post-addition to regulate viscosity. If the additive is suitable for this system, the rheological effect will increase significantly, it depends on the time and polarity, generally the rheological effect can be evaluated 2-24 hours after mixing.
If it is used with desiccants, discoloration may occur, which may be due to the formation of metal complexes. Rheological effectiveness in this case should be evaluated.
Under standard dosing, there is no negative effect on yellowing. In suspected systems yellowing and higher additive dosages should be evaluated.
