ANJEKA-6176 Polymeric Dispersing Agent enhanced gloss, color intensity, transparency, and coverage
GENERAL INFORMATION
ANJEKA-6176 is a wetting and dispersing agent designed for solvent-based automotive coatings, industrial coatings, and concentrated pigment dispersions. It is particularly effective in stabilizing high-pigment carbon black and organic pigments, especially in two-component polyurethane and baking systems, significantly reducing the viscosity of grinding media.

Application Instructions
In the application process, ANJEKA-6176 takes command over pigment flocculation, ensuring stability by employing steric hindrance. By instilling an identical charge to pigment particles, it initiates repulsion and steric hindrance, effectively thwarting any potential flocculation. This meticulous control guarantees that multi-pigment systems avoid manifestations of color floating and blooming. As a consequence, it contributes to the augmentation of gloss, intensification of color vibrancy, improvement of transparency, and broadening of coverage—all while concurrently diminishing the viscosity encountered during the grinding process.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT
Storage at temperatures below 0℃ may cause layering or turbidity. Heat to 20℃ and mix thoroughly without affecting performance. Storage beyond 12 months is not recommended.
SPECIAL NOTES
Surface treatments of certain organic pigments may adversely affect the effectiveness of this wetting and dispersing agent. In such cases, consider using untreated pigments of the same type. When used in coil coatings, consider the interaction between this cationic additive and acid catalysts. Free acids or epoxy-sealed acids are more suitable than amine-sealed acids.
RECOMMENDED LEVELS
Additive levels (as purchased) based on pigment:
Titanium Dioxide: | 5%–6% |
Inorganic Pigments: | 10%–15% |
Organic Pigments: | 30%–80% |
Carbon Black: | 70%–140% |
(The above data are empirical levels; optimal levels should be determined through a series of experiments.)
PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
For optimal performance, pre-mix grinding resin and solvent components, then add ANJEKA-6176 under stirring. Add pigments after uniform mixing of grinding resin and solvent. Do not add pigments until the additive is uniformly mixed.
