STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Stir thoroughly before use. Layer separation or cloudiness may occur at temperatures below 0°C; in such cases, warm the product to 30–40°C and mix well until homogeneous.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Coatings and printing inks
Key Features and Benefits:
Enhances gloss, color intensity, and anti-flocculation properties of organic pigments while reducing haze from poor dispersion. Particularly effective for dispersing high-surface-area carbon blacks, achieving deeper blackness in coatings. Additionally, it reduces grinding time, boosts production efficiency, and improves long-term storage stability.
APPLICATION SECTORS
Recommended for pigment dispersion in solvent-borne coatings and for stabilizing organic pigments—especially carbon black—in printing inks. Exhibits good compatibility with common coating resins, including polyester, polyurethane, and acrylic systems.
RECOMMENDED ADDITION LEVELS
Addition levels (as supplied, based on pigment weight):
Organic pigments: 10%–50%
Titanium dioxide or inorganic fillers: 0.5%–2%
Inorganic pigments: 4%–8%
Carbon black: 10%–30%
High-surface-area carbon black: 40%–80%
These values are based on experience; optimal dosage should be confirmed through laboratory testing.INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING
INSTRUCTIONS
For optimal performance, incorporate the additive into the millbase (resin/solvent phase) first, then add the pigments under dispersion conditions.
