Anjeka-6915 is a monofunctional deflocculating wetting and dispersing additive for mineral-filled amine-promoted polyester putty formulations, as well as epoxy, acrylic, and polyurethane resins. It improves the wetting and dispersion speed of fillers during the dispersion process, reduces viscosity, and enables higher filler loading. Higher filler content improves the sandability of polyester putty formulations during application and after curing. This additive significantly increases gel time in cobalt-promoted unsaturated resins. It is suitable for various polyurethane resin-filled systems. Due to its hydroxyl functional groups, which allow it to be incorporated into the polymer matrix, it is particularly suitable for polyurethane resin systems that must meet stringent fogging and emission requirements (e.g., automotive applications).
Additive dosage (as supplied) based on filler:
Unsaturated polyester putty formulations 0.5-1.5%
Polyurethane resin systems 0.5-2%
Epoxy systems 0.5-2%
Acrylate systems 0.5-2%
The above levels are for guidance. The optimum dosage should be determined through a series of application-related tests.
For best performance, the additive should be added to the resin mixture before homogenization and before the fillers are introduced.
