Anjeka-6045 is a wetting and dispersing additive for short carbon chain oligohydric alcohol systems. It exhibits excellent viscosity reduction for inorganic pigments, organic pigments and carbon blacks, and has high dispersion stability.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Features and Benefits:

Anjeka-6045 achieves excellent pigment dispersion stability in lower alcohol systems, especially for inorganic pigments and carbon blacks. During the dispersion process, Anjeka-6045 exhibits excellent and effective viscosity reduction while eliminating thixotropy in the flow behavior of the paste. The long-term storage stability of pigment dispersion systems using Anjeka-6045 is also significantly improved. The high degree of deflocculation of this wetting and dispersing additive makes it suitable for use in systems with superior cosmetic properties, improved color strength and transparency, significantly improved gloss and reduced haze.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

The amount of additives (in purchased form) is based on the pigment:

Inorganic pigments	2 - 8 %
Organic pigments	10 - 50 %
Carbon black	10 - 50 %

*The above data are empirical and the optimum amount should be determined through a series of tests.
