Anjeka 4425 is a liquid associative rheology modifier specially developed for full water-based systems, APEO-free and low VOC. It builds a reversible rheological network via intermolecular hydrogen bonds to precisely control base viscosity in cans, long-term inhibit pigment and filler sedimentation, and greatly improve anti-sagging performance during application. Its rheological property is not affected by system pH range, without damaging film gloss and transparency, suitable for the development of all types of waterborne coating formulas.

Temperature sensitive, store under dry conditions. Slight turbidity may occur during storage, which will not affect rheological performance.
When added under dispersion temperature no higher than 50°C, its effectiveness remains unchanged. Storage period is recommended not to exceed 24 months.
Urea segments on molecular chains form reversible hydrogen bond networks with waterborne resin emulsions and pigment particles, presenting typical pseudoplastic rheological behavior:
Thanks to its excellent rheological performance, this additive may cause sharp viscosity rise and hinder subsequent processing. Pre-dilution is recommended in such cases. It features high viscosity at low temperature, which can be effectively reduced by pre-dilution. The storage stability of diluted solution needs separate testing case by case.
The above are empirical dosages; optimal addition amount shall be confirmed via a series of tests.
Add this additive to coating systems under medium shear agitation to ensure uniform and rapid dispersion.
Strict temperature control is not required. It can be added at grinding stage, or post-added for viscosity adjustment.
If compatible with the system, obvious rheology improvement will be observed, depending on time and polarity. Rheological performance evaluation is generally carried out 2-4 hours after mixing.
