ANJEKA-6871
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Anjeka-6871 is a wetting and dispersing additive for aqueous coatings and printing inks, stabilising inorganic pigments, organic pigments and carbon blacks.
Significantly reduces the viscosity of abrasives and improves storage stability. Suitable for resin-containing mills (emulsions and water-soluble resins)and resin-free pigment concentrates.

Properties and Advantages.
Anjeka-6871 is compatible with commonly used aqueous resin bases and is the preferred dispersant for grinding resin-containing colour pastes. Stabilises a wide range of pigments, including transparent and opaque organic pigments and carbon blacks. It can also be used to grind aqueous, non-resinous pastes, even if the grinding material contains organic amines, rheology agents, or other substances.
Dispersing properties are not affected by the presence of organic amines, rheology aids, wetting aids and organic co-solvents.
Anjeka-6871 effectively reduces the viscosity of milled pastes and eliminates thixotropy of pastes. The deflocculation properties of this wetting and dispersing additive make it suitable for use in applications where appearance properties are required.
The deflocculating properties of this wetting and dispersing additive make it suitable for printing inks with high demands on aesthetic properties, significantly improving colour strength and transparency.

●--Special Recommendations
RECOMMENDED LEVELS
The amount of additives (in purchased form) is based on the pigment:
Inorganic pigments: 5%-30%
Organic pigments: 50%-100
Carbon black: 100%-250%.
The above data are empirical, the optimum dosage should be determined through a series of tests.
INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
For best performance, additives should be added to the grinding media before the pigment.
