ANJEKA-6162A
GENERAL DESCRIPTION Anjeka-6162A is a high molecular weight polyurethane-based, highly efficient carbon black dispersant. It exhibits excellent dispersion performance for various high-pigment carbon blacks, such as FW200.
PRODUCT DATA Chemical Composition: High molecular weight block copolymer solution containing pigment-affinitive groups.
Typical Physical and Chemical Data: The data provided in this sheet are typical values and not technical specifications.
Appearance:
Yellow liquid Acid Value (mg KOH/g): 1–15
Amine Value (mg KOH/g): 1–20 Density (g/cm³, 23°C): 1.10–1.20 Active Ingredients (%): 100
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Layering or turbidity may occur at temperatures below 15°C. Heat to 20°C and mix thoroughly before use.
Storage duration should not exceed 12 months.
SPECIAL NOTES
Surface treatments of certain organic pigments may adversely affect the efficiency of this wetting and dispersing agent. In such cases, untreated pigments of the same type should be tested. This product is more suitable for medium to high polarity systems, while its dispersion stability in medium to low polarity systems should be tested.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Coatings Industry Features and Benefits: This high molecular weight additive stabilizes pigments through steric hindrance, effectively deflocculating pigment particles and preventing re-agglomeration. Anjeka-6162A provides uniform charge distribution on pigment particles. The resulting repulsive force and steric stabilization effectively prevent co-flocculation, ensuring multi-pigment systems do not exhibit floating or flooding. The deflocculating properties of this additive can enhance gloss, color strength, transparency, and hiding power while reducing the viscosity of the grinding paste.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS
Additive dosage (as supplied) based on pigment: Inorganic Pigments: 5%–15%
Organic Pigments: 10%–90% Carbon Black: 50%–140%
The above dosage levels are based on experience; optimal levels should be determined through a series of tests.
INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
For optimal performance, the additive should be added to the grinding paste before adding pigments. PACKAGING 25 kg: Internally coated metal drum 180 kg: Plastic drum
