GENERAL DESCRIPTIONGENERAL DESCRIPTION
Anjeka-6880 is a high-performance wetting and dispersing additive specifically designed for solvent-free, UV-curable inkjet inks. It effectively stabilizes organic pigments and carbon black, while significantly reducing system viscosity and enhancing storage stability.
PRODUCT DATA
Chemical Composition: Polymer bearing pro-pigment anchoring functional groups.
Typical Physical & Chemical Data:
The values provided herein are typical and are not to be construed as binding product specifications.
Appearance: Transparent, yellow liquid.
Acid Value: 1 – 20 mg KOH/g.
Amine Value: 1 – 15 mg KOH/g.
Active Ingredient: 70%.
Solvent: Neopentyl Glycol Diacrylate (NPGDA).
STORAGE & HANDLING
Stir thoroughly before use. If separation or cloudiness occurs below 10°C, warm to 30–40°C and mix until uniform.
Store in a sealed container. Recommended shelf life: ≤12 months.
APPLICATION & BENEFITS
Ideal for: Solvent-free UV-curable inkjet inks.
Key Advantages:
-
Strong Pigment Affinity: Especially effective for organic pigments and carbon black, ensuring excellent dispersion stability.
-
Reduced Viscosity & Thixotropy: Lowers grinding paste viscosity and eliminates thixotropic behavior, enabling smooth processing and stable long-term storage.
-
Fine Particle Distribution: Promotes narrow particle size distribution, shortening ink filtration time and improving film appearance (color strength, gloss, transparency, haze reduction).
-
Steric Stabilization: Provides robust spatial resistance to prevent pigment re-flocculation.
DOSAGE (as supplied)
-
Organic pigments: 30 – 100% (on pigment weight)
-
Carbon black: 30 – 120% (on pigment weight)
Optimum dosage must be determined through testing.
INCORPORATION
Add to the grinding vehicle before introducing pigments for optimal performance.
