APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Properties and Benefits
Anjeka-6881 is a versatile dispersant suitable for solvent-based, aqueous, and UV-curable inkjet inks. It effectively stabilizes common inkjet pigments and provides excellent dispersion stability in milled pigment pastes.
Its key benefits include:
Enhanced Processing: Improves pigment wetting, reduces the viscosity of milled pastes, and eliminates thixotropy, facilitating smoother production.
Superior Storage Stability: Enables long-term storage without viscosity change or settling.
Optimal Pigment Performance: Its strong deflocculation effect results in very fine pigment particles with a narrow size distribution. This not only shortens filtration time during ink preparation but also enhances final ink properties.
Improved Film Appearance: Provides excellent steric stabilization, which translates to superior paint film characteristics such as high tinting strength, gloss, transparency, and low haze.
APPLICATION FIELDS/APPLICATION SECTORS
Solvent-based, water-based, UV-curable inkjet inks.
RECOMMENDED LEVELS
The amount of additives (in purchased form) is based on the pigment:
Organic pigments: 20%-60
Carbon Black: 30%-100
The above data are empirical, the optimum dosage should be determined through a series of tests.
INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
In order to obtain the best performance, the additives should be added to the abrasive before the pigments.
