GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Anjeka-6190A is a polymeric dispersant, serving as a standard additive for formulating resin-free pigment concentrates used in aqueous coating systems, printing inks, and adhesives. It is primarily designed for grinding inorganic pigments such as titanium dioxide, matting agents, and calcium-based fillers. This product offers effective viscosity reduction and exhibits excellent stability in strongly alkaline environments.

STORAGE & TRANSPORT

• Separation or haze may occur if stored or transported below 0°C. Warm to 20°C and mix thoroughly before use.

• The recommended shelf life is 12 months.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Recommended for: Water-based inks, coatings, and universal aqueous color pastes.

Properties and Benefits:
This additive achieves pigment deflocculation through steric stabilization. The resulting fine pigment particles contribute to high gloss and enhanced color strength. It also improves the transparency of transparent pigments and the hiding power of opaque ones. By reducing system viscosity, it enhances flow properties and allows for higher pigment loading.

It is particularly effective for producing stable, resin-free pigment concentrates with a pigment content of 30-70%. These concentrates are ideal for tinting standard aqueous base paints.

APPLICATION SECTORS

This additive is also highly recommended for manufacturing stabilized, resin-free pigment concentrates to prepare waterborne coatings free from floating and blooming.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE

(as supplied, on pigment weight)

• Inorganic Pigments: 2 – 10%

• Organic Pigments: 10 – 80%

• Carbon Black: 10 – 100%
