Anjeka-7356 is a surface additive designed to enhance surface energy. It is free of silicone and fluorine, and is compatible with water-based, solvent-based, UV-curable, and high-solids systems.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT

Store in a cool and dry place. Stir well before use. Storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months.If stored below 10°C, warm to room temperature before use.

Features and Benefits:

Anjeka-7356 effectively enhances the surface energy of cured coatings, particularly the polar component. It can improve the coatings adhesion, such as paints, laminating films, adhesives, and inks. It also improves wetting on the cured coating surface, contributing to superior leveling for the topcoat. Additionally, Anjeka-7356 enhances the leveling within the formulation to which it is added. It does not affect the surface tension of liquid coatings and maintains high transparency in clear varnishes. This additive offers excellent performance and is compatible in water-based, solvent-borne, UV-curable, and high-solids systems.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

Water-based systems (without co-solvents): 0.1 - 0.5%

Water-based systems (with high co-solvent content): 0.6 - 1.0%

Solvent-borne systems (polar): 1.0 - 2.0%

Solvent-borne systems (non-polar): 0.5 - 1.5%

Note: the dosages of additives or form as supplied are based on the total formulation.

The above values are empirical points; optimal dosage should be determined through a series of tests.

 

Special Tips

Anjeka-7356 must exhibit a controlled degree of incompatibility in the formulation to facilitate its migration to and alignment at the coating-air interface.The curing efficiency is influenced by the baking temperature, the polyether structure degrades at the temperatures above 170°C when baked for more than 10-15 minutes.Anjeka-7356 does not cross-link with the film-forming system. Its long-term effectiveness depends on the formulation itself.
