ANJEKA6860 used for high solids and solvent-free coatings
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Anjeka-6860 is a wetting and dispersing additive designed for solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings and printing inks. It effectively stabilizes inorganic pigments, especially titanium dioxide, and significantly reduces the viscosity of mill bases.
PRODUCT DATA
Chemical Composition: Solution of a copolymer containing acidic groups.
Typical Physical & Chemical Data:
Note: The values provided are typical and are not intended as product specifications.
Appearance: Clear Yellowish Liquid
Acid Value: 50 - 150 mg KOH/g
Density: 1.00 - 1.30 g/cm³ (at 23°C)
Viscosity: 300 - 3,000 mPa·s (at 25°C)
Active Content: 100 %
STORAGE & TRANSPORT
The recommended maximum shelf life is 12 months.
Store in tightly sealed original containers.
Do not store the product after pre-dilution.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES
For the Coatings Industry:
Anjeka-6860 is primarily used in high-solids and solvent-free coatings. Due to its anionic nature, it is particularly well-suited for acid-catalyzed systems (e.g., coil coatings). It stabilizes inorganic pigments, notably titanium dioxide, resulting in increased gloss, reduced haze, and a significant decrease in mill base viscosity.
KEY APPLICATION SECTORS:
Industrial Coatings
Automotive Coatings
Coil Coatings
Anticorrosive Coating Systems

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE
Dosage (as supplied) based on pigment weight:
Inorganic Pigments: 2% - 5%
Titanium Dioxide: 1% - 3%
Note: The above are empirical starting points. The optimal dosage must be determined through practical testing.
INCORPORATION & PROCESSING
For optimal performance, incorporate the additive into the mill base before adding the pigments.
