GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Anjeka-6162A is a high polymer polyurethane type high efficient carbon black dispersant with excellent dispersing performance for various high color carbon blacks such as FW200.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT

Delamination or turbidity may occur at temperatures below 15 °C. Heat to 20 °C and mix thoroughly.

Storage is not recommended for more than 12 months.

 

SPECIAL NOTES

The surface treatment of some organic pigments may adversely affect the effectiveness of this wetting and dispersing additive. In such cases, untreated pigments of the same type may be used. This product is suitable for medium to high polarity systems and should be tested for dispersion stability in medium to low polarity systems.

Properties and Advantages.

This high molecular weight additive unflocculates and stabilizes the pigment by spatial site resistance.Anjeka-6162A provides the same charge to the pigment particles. The resulting repulsive and site-stabilizing effect prevents possible co-flocculation and prevents color float and bloom in multi-color systems. The deflocculation properties of the additive increase the gloss, color strength, transparency and hiding power of the coating while reducing the viscosity of the abrasive.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

The amount of additives (in purchased form) is based on the pigment:

Inorganic pigments: 5%-15

Organic pigments: 10%-90

Carbon black: 50%-140

The above data are empirical, the optimum dosage should be determined through a series of tests.
