GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Anjeka-6175 is a wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-borne automotive coatings, industrial coatings and pigment concentrates. Particularly suitable for stabilizing highly pigmented carbon blacks and organic pigments, especially in two-component polyurethane and baking systems. Significantly reduces the viscosity of abrasives.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT
Layers or oils may occur at temperatures below 0°C. Heat to 20°C and mix thoroughly.
Storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months.
SPECIAL NOTES
The surface treatment of some organic pigments may adversely affect the effectiveness of this wetting and dispersing additive. In such cases, untreated pigments of the same type may be used. When used in coil coatings, the interaction between the cationic additive and the acid catalyst must be considered. Free or epoxy-encapsulated acids are more suitable than amine-encapsulated acids.

Features and Benefits:
Anjeka-6175 controls pigment flocculation and stabilization by spatial sites, especially for highly pigmented carbon blacks, making the washed out color more bluish in phase. The repulsive and spatial stabilization effect of providing the same charge to the pigment particles effectively prevents possible co-flocculation and prevents color flocculation and blooming in multi pigmented systems. This increases the gloss, color strength, transparency and hiding power of the coating, and also reduces the viscosity of the abrasive.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS
The amount of additives (in purchased form) is based on the pigment:
Titanium dioxide: 1%-5%
Inorganic pigments: 5%-15
Organic pigments: 30%-80
Carbon black: 70%-140
The above data are empirical, the optimum dosage should be determined through a series of tests.
INCORPORATION and PROCESSING INSTRUCTIOS
In order to obtain the best performance, the additives should be added to the abrasive before the pigments. Pre-mix the resin and solvent components of the abrasive, then slowly add the additives with constant stirring. Do not add pigments until the additives are well mixed.
