Separation and turbidity may occur at temperatures below 5℃. Warming to 20℃ and mix well before use.
Before massive use, user should determine by a series of test whether foam is stable in certain systems and check the recoatability and crater development.
The additive reduces the surface tension of the system to a medium level. It increases slip and improves levelling and gloss. Silicone additives prevent the formation of Benard cells. At the same time, Anjeka 7331 improves the wettability of the substrate and produces anti-stickiness.
Anjeka7331 is suitable for all solvent-borne, solvent-free and water borne coatings. In the two-component polyurethane system, the additive can also be mixed into the isoacid ester curing agent.

“Medium” is Anjeka 7331’s competitive advantage. High reduction can over-wet and destabilize some systems. Low reduction may not adequately wet difficult substrates. Anjeka 7331 sits in the optimal range — effective wetting without disrupting your formulation balance.
Q: Can it be used in water-based systems?
Yes. Anjeka 7331 is compatible with both water-borne and solvent-borne systems. This versatility makes it an efficient single-product choice for manufacturers running multiple coating lines.
Q: Will it affect recoatability?
Anjeka 7331 can influence surface energy, which may affect intercoat adhesion in some recoating scenarios. Always test recoatability in your specific system before mass production. If recoatability is a critical parameter, conduct localized testing or reduce dosage.
Q: The product became turbid after cold storage. Is it still usable?
Yes. Below 5 degrees C, separation or turbidity may occur. This is normal for silicone polyether products. Simply warm to 20 degrees C and stir thoroughly. Performance is fully restored with no degradation.
Q: How does it prevent Benard cells?
Benard cells form due to surface tension differences during solvent evaporation, causing swirling flow patterns in the drying film. Anjeka 7331’s silicone component suppresses the Marangoni effect, preventing these defects from forming as the film dries.
Q: Can it be used in two-component polyurethane systems?
