ANJEKA—6701 Pigment Dispersing Agent coatings ink systems inorganic fillers anti-greening dispersant
General Description:
Anjeka-6701 is a copolymer solution containing acidic groups, designed for use in solvent-based coatings and ink systems. It effectively prevents the settling of inorganic fillers and the greening of PE system coatings.
Product Data:
Chemical Composition: Copolymer with acidic groups
The data provided on this sheet represents typical values and not the technical specifications of the product.
Appearance: | Light yellow fluid |
Acid Value (mgKOH/g): | 390—490 |
Density (g/cm³ at 23℃): | 1.00-1.10 |
Viscosity (cps at 25℃): | 100-300 |
Non-volatile content %: | 98 |
Solvent: | Isooctanol |
Storage and Transport:
Before use, thoroughly stir the product, as layering or oiliness may occur at temperatures below 0℃. Heat to 30℃—40℃ and stir evenly. Storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months.
Special Notes:
Due to the product's high acid value, it may catalyze the cross-linking of baking paint systems. Check for viscosity increases during the coating system storage process. In PE systems, it may reduce coating drying speed; therefore, the addition level should be determined based on actual experimental conditions.
Application Guidelines:
Coating Industry and Printing Inks
Key Attributes and Benefits:
This supplement proficiently counteracts the propensity of PE coatings to exhibit greening and enhances the performance against settling, fostering improved can-opening effects in systems with high filler concentrations.
Areas of Application:
Highly recommended for incorporation into both solvent-based and solvent-free coatings, along with printing inks. It serves as a stabilizing agent for inorganic pigments, demonstrating notable effectiveness in PE systems to mitigate the occurrence of coating greening.
Recommended Levels:
Additive levels (as purchased) based on pigment:
Titanium Dioxide: | 2%—4% |
Inorganic Pigments: | 5%—10% |
PE System based on the total coating: | 0.2-0.5% |
The above data represents empirical levels; the optimal dosage should be determined through a series of experiments.
Processing Instructions:
For optimal performance, add the additive to the grinding media before introducing pigments.
Packaging:
25kg internally coated iron drum
200kg ring plastic drum
