GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Anjeka6111 is a wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings, designed to improve pigment wetting, reduce grinding time, and stabilize pigment dispersion.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT

Possible separation and cloudiness may occur at temperatures below 10˚C. Heat to 20˚C and thoroughly mix before use. Recommended storage time is not more than 12 months.

Characteristics and Advantages:

Anjeka6111 finds its primary application in high-solid and solvent-free coatings. Its anionic properties make it particularly suitable for acid-catalyzed systems, such as those found in coil coatings. By stabilizing inorganic pigments, particularly titanium dioxide, Anjeka6111 contributes to improved gloss, minimized haze, and a substantial reduction in the viscosity of grinding media. Additionally, it seamlessly integrates with pigment pastes that have been stabilized using additives from the Anjeka series.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

Additive levels (as purchased) based on pigment:

Inorganic pigments: 2%—5%

Titanium dioxide: 1%—3%

The above data are empirical levels; the optimal levels need to be determined through a series of experiments.

PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS

For optimal performance, add the additive to the grinding media before introducing the pigment.
