ANJEKA—6976 Phase separation additives pigment Dispersing Agent coatings adhesives PVC plastisol
General Description:
Anjeka-6976 is a solvent-free wetting and dispersing agent suitable for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings, adhesives, PVC plastisol, and room-temperature curing resin systems. It is also applicable for the production of masterbatches for thermoplastic plastics, particularly well-suited for carbon black pigments. It prevents phase separation and improves fiber wetting in SMC/BMC formulations.

Application Guidelines:
Coatings, Adhesives, and PVC Plastisol:
Anjeka-6976 utilizes steric hindrance to achieve pigment deflocculation. The resulting minute particle size ensures high gloss and enhanced color intensity. Moreover, it elevates the transparency of transparent pigments and the coverage of opaque pigments. The reduced viscosity improves flow properties and enhances the pigment content in color pastes.
SMC and Extrusion Processes:
Anjeka-6976 prevents phase separation of different thermoplastic plastics in various unsaturated polyesters and is suitable for low-volatile formulations. It is recommended for stabilizing organic pigments, especially acidic and neutral carbon black, and for wetting carbon fibers.
Dosage Recommendations:
5-30% additive dosage (as purchased) based on organic pigments and carbon black for pigment stabilization.
0.5-1% additive dosage (as purchased) based on fiber content for wetting carbon fibers.
0.3-1% additive dosage (as purchased) based on resin quantity to prevent phase separation.
Note: The recommended addition levels are for reference only; optimal levels should be determined through a series of experiments.
Processing Instruction:
For optimal performance, the additive should be added to the resin mixture before adding and mixing solids.
Room-Temperature Curing Resin Systems:
Product Characteristics and Advantages:
Anjeka-6976 stabilizes pigment deflocculation through steric hindrance. It imparts the same charge to pigment particles, preventing flocculation and ensuring a color appearance without blooming. The product's reduced particle size results in high gloss and improved color strength. Additionally, it enhances the transparency of transparent pigments and the coverage of opaque pigments. Due to its viscosity-reducing effect, flow properties are improved, allowing for increased pigment loading. Anjeka-6976 is suitable for various pigments, with a specific recommendation for stabilizing acidic and neutral carbon black pigments. It is also effective in improving the wetting of carbon fibers, enhancing processing reliability.
Dosage Recommendations:
5-30% additive dosage (as purchased) based on organic pigments and carbon black for pigment stabilization.
0.5-1% additive dosage (as purchased) based on fiber content for wetting carbon fibers.

For optimal performance, the additive should be added to the resin mixture before adding and mixing solids.
Thermoplastic Plastics:
Product Characteristics and Advantages:
Anjeka-6976 significantly reduces viscosity and imparts Newtonian flow characteristics to grinding materials. It improves torque rise, output efficiency, melt flow rate (MVR), filter pressure value (FPV), and dispersion quality.
Recommended Use:
Anjeka-6976 is recommended for organic pigments, particularly for acidic and neutral carbon black pigments. It can be used in thermoplastic plastics and masterbatches based on PE, PP, ABS, PVC, PET, and PA.
Dosage Recommendations:
5-30% additive dosage (as purchased) based on organic pigments and carbon black for pigment stabilization.
Note: The recommended addition levels are for reference only; optimal levels should be determined through a series of experiments.
Processing Instruction:
For optimal performance, the additive should be added before or during compounding in the pigment or plastic.
